We are a Specialist Staff Recruitment and Consultancy company providing services for Barristers' Chambers,
exclusively, across the UK.
 
Registration as a candidate is FREE of charge.

We provide services to barristers' chambers on all staffing matters, including training, and in particular

    Chambers People
    was established in 2002, and have worked with the majority of all the barristers' chambers in England and Wales with staff issues or other matters. We are a people to people service, we provide help and advice to clerks, support staff, and to barristers too.

    has now placed many hundreds of candidates  in posts in chambers which includes all the leading sets of chambers including: 4-5 Gray's Inn Square, One Essex Court, Wilberforce Chambers, 36 Bedford Row, Essex Court Chambers, Blackstone Chambers, Maitland Chambers, 3 Pump Court, Pump Court Tax Chambers, 39 Essex Street, 5 King's Bench Walk, Serle Court,3 Verulam Buildings, 5 Essex Court,12 King's Bench Walk and No5 Fountain Court in Birmingham, and chambers in Bristol, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Southampton, Maidstone, Canterbury, and elsewhere in the UK.

    Chambers People operations are run by Martin Poulter and his Assistant Ginnie Rule
    Accounts are dealt with by Janne Winhede
    Additional support from time to time from other consultants as required.

    MARTIN POULTER started the Chambers People business in 2002, after a long career as a barristers' clerk which started in 1977, first as a Junior Clerk and later for 13 years as a Senior Clerk. This unique experience has been important to the success of Chambers People.

    GINNIE RULE keeps the office running smoothly, and is in constant contact with candidates and organises registration appointments and interviews on behalf of clients. (Ginnie is normally in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Ginnie has been with Chambers People since 2005.
